Founded by Robert ‘John’ Wood in 1967, RJ Wood Chartered Accountants was established in a home office after John believed it was time he ventured on his own.
John Wood’s experience as a Chartered Accountant was developed whilst working with formerly Big Five giant Arthur Anderson. In 1989, Joe Choueifaty joined RJ Wood Chartered Accountants assisting with audits and various accounting needs. Later that year RJ Wood Chartered Accountants transitioned into a commercial office located on Macquarie Street, Parramatta.
With continual growth and more employees joining the firm, John decided to change the name to RJW Associates in order to incorporate the whole team. In 2003, RJW Associates outgrew its space thus another relocation to our current office in O’Connell Street, Parramatta. After the passing of Robert John Wood in 2006, RJW Associates was entrusted to Joe to operate in order to continually service our clients.
With over 40 years of experience, RJW Associates is well known for our caring, personalised service and the strong relationships that we have built with our loyal clients over the years.
We strive to understand our client’s needs and ensure the most appropriate advice and guidance is given. We are always happy to spend as much time with our clients as needed to guarantee that we have a clear understanding of their situation in order to provide them with the best solutions.
Our clients appreciate the knowledge we have of their business and personal affairs resulting in effective and efficient services when questions are asked and prompt answers are required. We believe that the best kind of advertising is ‘word of mouth’, this is why we have never advertised in any shape or form. Our clients, whether from Sydney, interstate or even internationally have come to us from the recommendation by an existing client.
