Joseph Choueifaty, FIPA

Joe begun his public practice career in 1967 when RJW Associates was founded by Robert John Wood (RJW). From humble beginnings, working from a home office, Robert & Joe eventually moved operations to a commercial space in Parramatta a few years afterwards. Learning all things accounting, tax and audit from Robert, Joe’s skills and experience developed into an expertise, enjoying all aspects of the industry working alongside his mentor. After the passing of Robert John Wood in 2006, Joe took over operations, leaving the name intact as a means to honour Robert for the opportunities that he gave Joe throughout the years. 

Building client relationships and providing the best possible service have been the core principles that Joe has continued to implement till this day. Many clients have been with the firm for decades, speaking volumes of the level of service that is provided by Joe and the team. Joe’s passion for auditing, especially in the non-for-profit sector is second to none as he not only completes the audit, but ensures clients understand what the issues are (if any) and how processes should be moving forward to avoid such issues. He is most satisfied watching all clients of the firm thrive in their businesses/associations, achieving their goals and ensuring he is always available to assist in any way needed!

Tax & Audit Manager

John Choueifaty, CA

John started with RJW Associates in 2014 after completing a Bachelor of Business & Commerce (Accounting). With over 10 years of experience, John specialises in delivering tailored tax, accounting & advisory solutions to a vast array of clients, working closely with them to ensure their obligations are met whilst helping to achieve long-term financial success! John leads all accounting and taxation at RJW Associates and is known for his approachable style, attention to detail and simplifying complex matters. He takes pride in building long lasting relationships with clients, many of whom come through trusted referrals.

Office Administrator & Book-keeper

Angela Vella

Angie started with RJW Associates in 2010 and is the first point of contact for all clients visiting or giving us a call! Her extensive experience in book-keeping and office management is an integral part of the day-to-day operations at RJW. Angie also enjoys assisting in the audits of non-for-profit organisations and manages the everyday book-keeping needs for many of our clients.

Office Support & Book-keeper

Sayde Choueifaty

Sayde is an integral part of RJW Associates, assisting the team in all aspects of the business from office support to book-keeping and auditing. Her background as a Solicitor showcases her great attention to detail and her ability to discover and adjust discrepancies as needed. As the “mother” of the office, Sayde ensures all staff and clients who visit are welcomed with open arms and are well looked after! 

Undergraduate Accountant

Mark Fakhoury

Mark started at RJW Associates in 2025 and is currently completing his Bachelor of Accounting majoring in Financial Planning & Taxation. As he begins his career in accounting, Mark enjoys learning all things tax & audit to further grow his expertise in the field!
